In ancient times, the current pantheon of Gods were formed when the two Blind Gods of the Beginning, Rythar, Goddess of Order, and Mythar, God of Chaos were deposed by an unexplained shift in the nature of the universe. With their destruction, the threads of power They formerly weaved into creation became Ishap, and through His design, 99 other gods.

After a long, destructive war with the beings known as the Valheru, which resulted in the deaths of nearly the entire new order of Gods, the remaining divinities took on attributes which mirrored and melded with the elements and characteristics of the beings that inhabited Their world.
